2026 IMPACT REPORT
LOOK WHAT GOD HAS DONE.
2026 was the beginning.
In our 2026 pilot season, Good News Sports Academy had the opportunity to serve 70 young people through four sports clinics across the Milwaukee area.
From basketball courts and tennis courts to the soccer field, our goal remained the same: use sports as a vehicle to help young people grow in skill, character, and faith while pointing them toward Jesus.

Every clinic participant received their own Bible and GNSA shirt, along with coaching, encouragement, and an opportunity to hear about the hope found in Jesus.
More Than Sports
We love sports. We believe great coaching, competition, teamwork, and skill development can have a meaningful impact on a young person's life.
But Good News Sports Academy exists for something even bigger.
We want young people to leave our programs better athletes, but also more confident, encouraged, supported, and reminded that their identity and foundation can be found in Jesus.
Our clinics intentionally bring together high-quality sports instruction, positive mentorship, character development, and the Gospel.
Four Clinics. One Mission.
Youth Basketball
Participants worked on basketball fundamentals, skill development, and competitive play in a fun and encouraging environment.
Through 1 Samuel 16:7, participants learned that while people often focus on what is visible on the outside, God looks at the heart. They were challenged to develop a heart like Jesus that loves and serves others.
Youth Tennis
Participants learned tennis fundamentals, movement, racket skills, and basic gameplay through high-quality instruction.
Through Colossians 2:6-7, participants were encouraged to grow deep in Jesus and build their lives on Him.
We are grateful to MTEF and USTA Wisconsin for providing instruction, equipment, and support.
Youth Soccer
Participants developed dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, teamwork, and gameplay skills.
As participants prepared to return to school, they were challenged to love others like Jesus in their classrooms, friendships, and teams.
We are grateful to Milwaukee Scores for donating soccer balls so every participant could take a soccer ball home.
High School Basketball
High school athletes worked through advanced skill development, game-speed drills, basketball IQ, decision-making, and competitive play as they prepared for their upcoming seasons.
Through Colossians 2:6-7, athletes were reminded: ‘Sports are a great thing to build, but a terrible thing to build your life on.’ Athletes were encouraged to make Jesus the foundation of their lives.
It Took a Community
None of this happened alone.
The 2026 season required coaches willing to serve, organizations willing to partner, facilities willing to open their doors, donors willing to give, families willing to trust us, and people faithfully praying behind the scenes.
God continually provided the people, places, resources, and opportunities needed to make these clinics possible.

The Pilot Gave Us Something to Build On
2026 allowed GNSA to test a unique model combining accessible sports programming, high-quality coaching, and Gospel-centered teaching. The overwhelming response from participants, families, and community organizations proved there is a significant opportunity to grow this vision. We are encouraged by the meaningful partnerships established and the resources successfully distributed to the next generation.
2026 Was the Pilot. Now We Are Asking What Could Be Possible in 2027.
As we look toward Spring and Summer 2027, we are prayerfully considering where God may be leading Good News Sports Academy next.
We believe there are more young people to reach, more coaches and mentors to equip, more partnerships to build, and more opportunities to use sports to share the Good News of Jesus.
Growth will require people who believe in the mission and are willing to come alongside it.
Our goal is not simply to do more. Our goal is to faithfully grow the mission while continuing to provide high-quality, affordable, and accessible programming for young people and families.
Pray
Pray for wisdom, coaches and volunteers, community partners, financial resources, open doors to reach families, the young people who received Bibles, and the Gospel seeds planted through our programs.
The story is just beginning.

We cannot wait to see what God does next.
